Intensive Programme (IP) - General information
During the second semester all Euroculture students from the partner universities meet with faculty during a ten-day intensive course. The IP is structured in accordance with the four main fields identified during the first semester (mobility, transfer, intervention, co-operation). There will be workshops of collaborative groups on specific case studies of European and international significance. Group work, public lectures, excursions and seminars will also be part of the schedule. The main characteristics of the Euroculture programme, multilingualism, interdisciplinarity, transnationalism and specifically European cultural studies become especially apparent during the IP.

The IP has three main objectives:
  • To meet and interact with other Euroculture network participants during a ten-day intensive course.
  • To synthezise in a problem-oriented platform the content and methodologies taught during the first semester course units.
  • To pave the way for a second semester filled with methodological, competence-based, and research-intensive modules.

The idea to integrate former students and external experts into the IP in order to help students better prepare for their job search after graduation led to establishing the Career Day as an integral part of the IP.
