All applicants of the MA programme Euroculture have to
apply using the online application form.
The 2011 intake is closed now.
The online application form for the 2012 intake is available.
The online application form consists of two parts.
The first part consists of a form to be filled out. This includes indicating at which partner university you would like to study the first semester of the programme (you will have to indicate a first, second and third preference).
After you have submitted the first completed part, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided when filling out the form.
In the second part of the application procedure, you will have to write
- a letter of motivation explaining your choice to apply for the MA Programme Euroculture (maximum 7500 characters including spaces)
You will have to upload the required application documents, which are the following:
- Certified copies* of degree certificate(s) + transcripts of records and qualification (BA, MA, etc.). If your degree certificate and/or transcript of records are not in English, you should provide us with a certified translation in English.
Please ensure that your degree and/ or transcript of records include information about the length of your studies.
If you have not yet completed your Bachelor degree before the deadline, please include a statement from your university with your expected graduation date.
* Certified means that the copy has to have official stamps from the school or from a notary who states that the document is a true copy of the original. - Letter of reference from two different referees you have listed in the application form
- Academic and Professional CV
- Result of an English language test (if applicable)
- A scan of your valid passport or identity card

The consortium has set 4 deadlines:
10 December: for applicants for an Erasmus Mundus student scholarship, as well as for self-financing applicants
1 March, 1 May and 1 July: for self-financing applicants
The earlier in the year you apply the better the chance you get selected for the programme. Non-Eu applicants are strongly recommended not to apply later than 1 March (in order to apply for visa etc).
Applicants will be assessed by the partner university of their first choice after each deadline and will be informed approx 4 weeks after the deadline. Each partner university can select 25 students per year.
